Why do not you shut up? Everybody. It would be the best service they could do to FC Barcelona. Because every time they talk, raise the bread. Or, what is worse, they make Messi angry. And the wardrobe. If wednesday was the CEO of the club, Óscar Grau, who burned the environment asking for "common sense" in the renewal of the Argentine crack, this Friday was Pere Gratacós, representative of the entity Blaugrana in the draw of Copa del Rey, who threw more fuel to the fire assuring that "Messi would not be so good without Iniesta and Neymar". But what do they say?
I know Pere Gratacos did not intend to generate any controversy with his words. I know that Pere Gratacos was the one who recommended Rijkaard to make Messi debut. I know that Pere Gratacos loves Barça and admires Leo above all things. But Pere Gratacos was wrong in falling into the trap of journalists' questions. It would have been very easy to respond with a "this subject does not correspond" or, even better, with "Messi is the best in the world and I am convinced he will continue in Barca." How difficult is it?
The renewal of Messi is so TRASCENDENTAL (yes, in capital letters) for the future of FC Barcelona that any comments made about it can only muddy the negotiations. Better that no one speaks. Better than anyone else. Better that everyone keep a complete silence, waiting for President Josep Maria Bartomeu to sit with Leo's father and close the deal. Because any sentence can be misinterpreted. And more if you make mistakes in communication as serious as those of Óscar Grau and Pere Gratacós.
